Witchcraft is named in 5 verses of the World English Bible and sorcery in 22, and the words around them (divination, mediums, spells, omens) bring the total close to 50 verses. The Law forbids divination, sorcery, interpreting omens, casting spells and consulting mediums in one list (Deuteronomy 18:9-14) and sets death for a medium (Leviticus 20:27). The New Testament lists witchcraft among the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-20), records Simon the sorcerer (Acts 8:9-24), Elymas (Acts 13:6-11) and Ephesian converts burning their magic books (Acts 19:18-19), and places sorcerers outside the new Jerusalem (Revelation 21:8, 22:15). The verses below follow those passages.

"When you have come into the land which Yahweh your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. Because of these abominations, Yahweh your God drives them out from before you. You shall be perfect with Yahweh your God. For these nations that you shall dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery and to diviners; but as for you, Yahweh your God has not allowed you so to do."

“Stand now with your enchantments, and with the multitude of your sorceries, in which you have labored from your youth; as if you might profit; as if you might prevail. You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Now let the astrologers, the stargazers, and the monthly prognosticators, stand up and save you from the things that will come on you. Behold, they are like stubble. The fire will burn them. They won’t deliver themselves from the power of the flame. It won’t be a coal to warm at or a fire to sit by.
