The word suicide never appears in the Bible. What the Bible does show, more than once, is faithful people in such despair that they asked God to let them die: Moses (Numbers 11:15), Elijah (1 Kings 19:4), Job (Job 3:11) and Jonah (Jonah 4:3). God did not turn away from any of them. He gave Moses seventy elders to share his load, sent Elijah food and sleep, answered Job, and kept talking with Jonah. The verses below are about that nearness: Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart (Psalm 34:18), and nothing can separate us from God's love (Romans 8:38-39).
Counts from this page's curated collection (11 books of Scripture).

“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
"But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree. Then he requested for himself that he might die, and said, “It is enough. Now, O Yahweh, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.” He lay down and slept under a juniper tree; and behold, an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat!” He looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on the coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank, and lay down again. Yahweh’s angel came again the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.” He arose, and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, God’s Mountain."

And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again. And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God."

He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahweh."

The word suicide is not in the Bible, in the King James Version or the World English Bible. Scripture does record people who were so worn down that they asked God to take their life, among them Moses, Elijah, Job and Jonah, and it shows God caring for each of them: help for Moses, food and rest for Elijah, an answer for Job, and patient words for Jonah.
Psalm 34:18: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Jesus' invitation in Matthew 11:28 is another: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."
